I had a long post about the tsunami and earthquake in Japan all prepped and my computer ate it.
So instead I’m posting a link to a site with very good information about the Fukushima Nuclear Plant and what is going on at the moment.
Bottom line: they’re not having a meltdown yet. They shouldn’t, either. And 1,000 times normal radiation that was detected is a little more than the average person receives while flying from Tokyo to Los Angeles.
Think about that the next time you fly.
Edit: 2213 EST : got word that a third explosion has happened, this time in reactor #2. Not sure what this means yet, but still 10 times lower than the dangerous level limit. So about what you get from an x-ray machine is the current dosage.
