Just returned from Dragoncon and I’ll have that AAR up on Friday, if not sooner. No, I do not plan on making you wait as long as you did for the Libertycon AAR (I still feel guilty about that, really).

However…

While at Dragoncon, I received a message from my publisher, Chris Kennedy, congratulating me and asking me if I was planning on attending the awards ceremony. I had zero idea what he was talking about (I was getting crappy cell service the entire weekend) and he showed me that THE EXECUTIONERS, a novel I coauthored with Matt Novotny and narrated by the amazing Daniel Wisniewski, won the Gold Medal for Best Audiobook in Fiction from the Readers Favorite Award.

I’m still in one of those “holy crap” hazes from hearing the news. This is amazing. Thank you all who bought the book and gave it an amazing review.

Still jazzed… this euphoria might wear off in a week or three.

To celebrate, THE EXECUTIONERS is currently on sale over on Amazon for only $0.99. The narrator somehow managed to make our Flatar sound exactly like a deranged and psychotic Rocket Racoon, which is terrifyingly accurate. If you have the extra cash, I would highly recommend picking it up. I don’t listen to audiobooks often, but Daniel had me absolutely dying of laughter while narrating it.
