2023 Year in Review

So 2023 was a wild year in publishing for me. It was one of the busiest years in terms of books published, as well as words written.

In 2023 I managed to have 3 novels published, 1 anthology I edited published, as well as 3 short stories (to be fair, one of those is cheating because I wrote a short story in the anthology I edited). One of those books quickly became a national bestseller (Monster Hunter Memoirs: Fever, coauthored with Larry Correia) and two others hit the orange bestseller tag on Amazon (On A Cloudy Day and The Misfits, both coauthored with Kevin Ikenberry). I also won an award with Matt Novotny and narrator Daniel Wisniewski for the audiobook for The Executioners, which was really cool.

This year I managed to get down a little over 537,000 words written. That is the most I’ve ever managed in a single year. I’ve finally figured out a rhythm to this “writing” thing. 😀

A terrific year. Here’s to 2024 being better.
