Worst. Author. Ever.
So I received my tentative Dragoncon schedule a few weeks back and promptly forgot to post it here. Yep, I’m a moron. I’m also on the fantasy track more than anything else, which is fine by me. There’s plenty of fantasy in The Warp.

One really cool thing about Dragoncon this year is that, while I’m not a finalist, a lot of my fellow authors over at Chris Kennedy Publishing made it as finalists for the 2018 Dragon Awards. Of course the usual host cried and moaned about being butthurt about it (you know who you are) but the most grievous of insults was hurled at my publisher, Chris Kennedy. Someone accused him of being a Kindle Unlimited Factory Publisher, which basically is claiming that he is gaming the system on the KU. I know this is utter bull because when he sends the MONTHLY royalty checks he shows the breakdown of what sold where. Since he signed a distribution deal with Baen Books a few months back certain novels are unavailable for KU, including four of mine.
Even cooler, though, is that Deathlords, Book 3 of the Kin Wars Saga, will be released on Aug 30 while I’m at Dragoncon. I’m super excited about continuing the story of the Espinoza clan and early reader response has been overwhelmingly positive. I’m hoping that the sales are high enough that I can push through and knock out Book 4, Homeguard.
