So how has the book been doing? Not too shabby, actually. It just missed the new release national bestseller list (print format, because they don’t count ebooks) and has gotten nothing but stellar reviews so far. Jonathan Koan reviewed it this morning over on his Youtube channel, Publisher’s Weekly did a nice review of it… so far, so good.
Melissa and I are hard at work on Book 2, Vessels Grim and Daring. That is currently scheduled for the end of this year for publication, and our turn in date is right around the corner. However, we should easily come in under the deadline wire with time to spare because we are just that awesome. Then it’s a slight pause as we work on solo projects before we get back to work on the third book in the trilogy. And that will be less of a “start” than continuation, since we already wrote about 10% of that book.
Again, because of awesomeness.
I’m still working on the history of the Bronze Legion but it’s going slow because there’s just so much I want to put in but that would be spoilers, and readers hate spoilers. However, I do have it on good authority that there will be Bronze Legion cosplayers in the Dragoncon parade this year. I’m really looking forward to that.
