This one time at Writer's Camp…

Star Bright and Alarms

Wow, that alarm clock is loud when you wake up early.

Finishing touches are coming along for The Absolute True Story of Santa Claus. It’s got romance, adventure, blood, guts and a little bit of holiday cheer, which means it’ll appeal to both the girls and boys. I’m rather proud of how it turned out. Hopefully I’ll have the editing done by Thursday night so I can post it up here first thing in the morning. Then everyone can see just what really happened that fateful night a long time ago and why the Vatican is trying to convince the world that Santa is a pagan myth and not real… and how handy Santa is with a saber, a C96 Mauser and some monster-stompin’ boots.

Because that’s just how Santa rolls when he’s up in the ghetto…

Sat outside last night to watch the Geminids… I was disappointed. I only saw one and they were supposed to be falling at 45 a minute. Of course, I was freezing cold and sitting in a car in the darkest place I could find with all lights off. But still, you’d think I would have seen more than one. But alas, I guess I’ll try again tonight. This time I’ll drive out to Greenfield and watch from there. Should definitely be dark enough that far out.

Maybe this time I’ll see two…
