So last week I signed and mailed off a contract for an anthology that I was keeping quiet about because it’s a pretty big thing. I talked to the editor and was given the OK to go ahead and let it out publicly.

Eric S. Brown (yes, that guy again :)) and I sold our short story “Best Laid Plans” to John Ringo’s upcoming anthology, Black Tide Rising, (Baen Books) which is set in his NYT bestselling series of the same name (which features the books Island of Rage and Hope, To Sail a Darkling Sea, etc…). There are some huge names in this anthology (and some of good friends of mine) and I’m extremely excited about it.

I vaguely remember the list of people but I can’t confirm if it was for this or another anthology I’m trying to get in to. Because of this, I’m not going to name names until I see the blurb. It’s tentatively scheduled for a release of June 7, 2016 (which is an awesome birthday present for me) so yay!
