The other day I showed off the cover for the upcoming Four Horsemen Universe novel, DAUGHTER OF THE PRIDE. Today I’m showing off the cover for the next anthology I’m in, titled WE DARE — SEMPER PARATUS.

Yes, this is a themed anthology. The last one, WE DARE, focused on augmented humanity and lifeforms. I had a short story in it set within the Kin Wars Universe explaining how the Wraith Corps came to be, as well as drop a HUGE bombshell as to the source of the AI in the Brightsuit (if you have no idea what I’m talking about, you might want to start the Kin Wars at the beginning with WRAITHKIN because a lot goes on in these novels).

WE DARE — SEMPER PARATUS is focusing on post-apocalyptic stories this time around. I teamed up with my old collaborator, Christopher L. Smith (check his book with John Ringo and Kacey Ezell, GUNPOWDER & EMBERS… fantastic novel and amazing start to a new series) and we wrote a two-part apocalyptic story taking place soon after World War 1. It was actually supposed to be two different sides of the story but Chris and I saw that word count limit fly by and decided to simply split the first story into two parts and save the other for another time… or a novel of its own, we don’t know.
