Just finished reading John Steakley’s book Vampire$ this morning and am, once more, in awe of his writing. Having met the man back in 2006, I would never have put his humorous personality with the gritty, driven novels he tends to write. Granted, so far as I know he’s only written two novels. But the fact that a man can write only two novels and both have such a profound impact on society says something.

Of course, I had one question which I wondered if anybody else caught. Two books, two destructive characters named Felix. Coincidence?
