Was working on Wraithkin just now and suddenly a massive sneezing attack hit me. Ugh, talk about crap timing. I don’t have allergies very often but when they do, it’s 10-15 minutes of sneezing hell. Then it disappears, leaving no evidence and me with no clue as to what caused it. I’ve done the allergen tests and the best they could come up with was “mild hay fever”. Really? Might as well go and say I’ve got an “acute case of the sniffles” while you’re at it.

Ugh.

But anyways, back to the topic at hand…

I’ve been bitten by the Wraithkin bug, which isn’t good because I have a short story due Aug 1 for the Sha’Daa anthology and a short due to Scott Oden‘s Orc anthology. However, it is begging to be written some more, so I’ll oblige today. Next week, though, no excuses. I must start working on that horror story (and, for the record, I just called my friend’s unborn son a “parasitic creature”, so I’m fairly certain I have this “horror” thing down) before too long. It’s not going to be too hard to write, but I do want to get at least the first draft done before I move.

…oh yeah, did I forget to mention that? I’m moving next weekend, Memorial Day. Got a job offer too good to pass up so I’ll be moving. Go me? I guess. I hate moving. Did too much of it when I was a little kid (around 50 group homes in 8 years) so the older I get, the more entrenched I want to be at one place. I’ll still be updating here, though I don’t know about Shiny Book. I’m sure Barb, Leo and Rebecca will do something to keep the place up while I’m out.

Gonna get some more writing done. Sneezing appears to have stopped. Good.
