This one time at Writer's Camp…

Read A Book, Read A Book!

Somehow I went 40 hours with only 45 minutes sleep and only mildly went insane (my poor coworkers…). I promise to never* do that again.

The lack of sleep I mean. The insanity was fun.

Nothing new to report (well, minus the lack of a few brain cells but eh, I won’t miss them…) and nothing interesting to talk about. Maybe you should mosey on over to the Baen Free Library to read a few freebies. Yes, it’s free. No, you don’t need to register (though it helps it you want to participate on the Bar). Yes it’s DRM-free. No it doesn’t cost a thing. Yes, I’m serious. No, it’s not a scam.

*sigh* Internets, you have turned us all into paranoid bastards.

*Disclaimer: if under deadline for a novel or short story, then the promise made previous is no longer valid and all arguments of retaining both sleep and sanity fly out the window. You have been warned.

Nice plug for the Baen Free Library, one of my favorite places to go on the Web.

As for everything else . . . you need more sleep. (I know; tell you something you _don’t_ already know.) I wish I knew what to suggest there, if warm milk and chamomile tea and such other remedies haven’t helped (and I have to think you’ve tried it all, as you’re a smart man).

But as for enjoying the insanity? There’s nothing inherently wrong with _that_. 😉

    Love the “disclaimer,” too.
