The first five chapters are up here, and nowhere else, for Corruptor. This is the near-final draft, with some minor edits still needing to be worked out by the managing editor. The Writing Buggers


I wrote my first short story back in 1994, titled "Durango's Bluff". It was some sort of bastardized western crossed with SF, which we now refer to as "steampunk". I thought it was too short, set at only 15,000 words. It was only later that I realized that that length is actually too long for a short story. Irony, meet thy friend, Jason.

What The Other Authors Are Doing…


Hmm... now that I think about it, that would be one heck of a marketing ploy. You announce you're going to start a new series, and then come up with a horrible, horrible book. But then you have the sequel come out nine months later, and it's not so horrible, and so by the time they get to the fifth book they're thinking you're series is solid plated gold. I need to talk to an agent about this...
