I swear, I look down, get back to writing, look back up... and it's almost been a month since an update. How does time do this to me? Well, this week I had not one but TWO cover reveals occur. The first one is the one that everybody has been waiting for, and HOLY CRAP … Continue reading Two Cover Reveals!

Brief Update for the Masses
Sometimes when I'm at work I lose track of days. It's not really surprising when I think it's a Saturday and I realize no, it's a Wednesday. ....today is still Tuesday, yeah? Wrote quite a goodly chunk on Deathlords today. I'm really feeling it right now and seeds of the fabled plot crop I planted in Wraithkin are finally … Continue reading Brief Update for the Masses
Darkling is LIVE
Yes, the title is correct. Darkling is now live and available over on Amazon. I'm super excited about this. How excited? So excited I'm going to be running a giveaway for a copy of Wraithkin, Darkling, and Kraken Mare, all autographed. All you need to do is Tweet it, tag me in it (@warpcordova), and voila! one entry. You can also tag … Continue reading Darkling is LIVE
13 Days and Easter
13 days and counting for Darkling's release. I'm excited. I've taken to calling fans of the Kin Wars Saga "Kinions". I'm clever like that. Book 3 of the series, Deathlords, is still motoring along. I'm fixing a few problems in the early goings of the book while continuing some of the more exciting bits later. I'm also having … Continue reading 13 Days and Easter
SF Shenanigans
My interview with SF Shenanigans went live yesterday. Had a lot of fun with JR and Chris as we discussed the new subgenre of LitRPG and how The Warp falls into that category. We also discussed early influences and how I totally fanboi'd Timothy Zahn the first time I met him. Interview here
More News of Books
Got an email from another publisher this past week explaining that the next anthology I'm in, Sha'Daa: Toys, is either going to come out at the end of March or mid-April. This is great actually, since mid-April is the same time that Darkling will be released. One week, two books... haven't done that since September of last year. … Continue reading More News of Books
March Update
Still writing, still forgetting to update the website regularly. Deathlords is currently just over 50% complete. I had to go back and delete some stuff due to it simply not working, but the goal of having it done and turned in by April 30 is good. I estimate getting it to the First Readers by April … Continue reading March Update
Brief Update
I just got over some viral infection (yay!) so things have been slow around at Casa Cordova these past few weeks. I am definitely looking forward to the release of Darkling on April 13, 2018. I am also still hard at work on Deathlords, which is looking more and more like a Libertycon 31 release (June 29-July … Continue reading Brief Update
Release Date Announcement
Darkling will be live and on sale April 13, 2018. **cue dramatic screaming from my tens of fans** Book 2 of the Kin Wars Saga will continue the story of Gabriel and Andrew, as well as introducing a new set of eyes to the novel. It also tears your freaking heart out (so I'm told by first … Continue reading Release Date Announcement
Turned In
Turned in the completed Darkling to my publisher over at Theogony Books and am super excited about this. So far the First Reader responses have been far more enthusiastic over this book than they were with Wraithkin, which is saying something. Already 30% of the way through Deathlords as well. The deeper I get into this series the easier it's becoming … Continue reading Turned In
Book Release Day!
It's release day for Devastator, book 2 of The Warp and direct sequel to Corruptor, the very first novel I had published under my own name. Let's get that Amazon rank up there and leave some reviews so people will think "Hey, fun YA that's age-appropriate!"
Finished and Other News
Two things... First off, Darkling is finished! It's now off and in the hands of the Super Mega Awesome Beta Force Crew for dissemination and assassination. Book 2 of the Kin Wars Saga had a ton of heartache, loyalty, and betrayal. Let the song of victory play! https://youtu.be/MH9FyLsfDzw Secondly, my article about the current kerfuffle within the … Continue reading Finished and Other News
2017 Year In Review
2017 was a strange year. It had some tremendous highs and a few lows. The hardest part of the year was putting down Wally-cat. He was still a young cat (6 years old) when the decision was made. He was suffering from kidney failure and it was a genetic thing that nobody caught until he … Continue reading 2017 Year In Review
19 Days
...until Devastator is live. Not that I'm counting. Yesterday I was going through Darkling before I started really cranking it out and finishing it up by New Year's (that's my goal) when I realized that I had an empty chapter placeholder just... sitting there. Like that puppy in the window that nobody wants, Chapter 11 was just staring at … Continue reading 19 Days
22 Day Countdown
22 days and counting until Book 2 of The Warp is released. Devastator is, in my opinion, a terrific story. The pacing is fast, which is typical for me, but the story unfolds at just the right amount of time. Drama? Got it. Love story? Check. 22 days. Start the countdown. In the meanwhile, I'll be finishing up Darkling, … Continue reading 22 Day Countdown
