Addendum: I can say that Larry, because of you, little children will no longer look at David the Gnome in the same light ever again. You officially killed my one happy childhood memory. That single, lonely spark of joy in my dark and harrowing youth. That innocent and carefree memory. That glorious moment when I was able to sing along to a song with love in my heart and tears of happiness in my eye. Where I could always find David... the Gnome.

Over the next few months, I'm going to try to secure some published authors and/or agents to contribute to the blog, possibly including some publishers as well. Hopefully this will open more doors and answer questions aspiring writers may (or may not) have. The call is out... who would you want to guest blog here?

I like strong women characters, women who kick butt yet aren't afraid to admit they would be lost in a kitchen (eat that, Martha Stewart!).

When I saw his name, I think I let loose a very girlish squeal. Very girlish, one that would have had me beaten and emasculated by some of my manlier friends.

Hmm... now that I think about it, that would be one heck of a marketing ploy. You announce you're going to start a new series, and then come up with a horrible, horrible book. But then you have the sequel come out nine months later, and it's not so horrible, and so by the time they get to the fifth book they're thinking you're series is solid plated gold. I need to talk to an agent about this...
