The past nine days have been tremendously exciting for me. First, a little over one week ago, SONS OF THE LION was released and immediately shot up the charts. The sales for it are still going strong, and the reviews have all been positive as readers are reintroduced to characters they'd only seen in short … Continue reading We Dare & Sons of the Lion Are BOTH Out!
One More Day
My new job has been kicking my butt lately so I haven't been writing as much as I should. However, that doesn't stop the release of books I've already submitted to the publisher. Tomorrow, SONS OF THE LION finally drops. I'm super stoked about it. It's my first novel set in the Four Horsemen Universe … Continue reading One More Day
Another Cover Reveal
This month is crazy! WE DARE, an anthology created and edited by Jamie Ibson and Chris Kennedy, is being released on May 31, a week after SONS OF THE LION comes out. I have a short story in WE DARE, taking place during the creation of the Wraith program in the Kin Wars universe. For … Continue reading Another Cover Reveal
Change of Release Date!
So something really cool happened yesterday and I completely forgot to tell you. SONS OF THE LION has had its release date bumped up from June 7 to May 24. That's right, now you can get the book two whole weeks sooner! That means there will definitely be copies for sale at Libertycon for those … Continue reading Change of Release Date!
The Agent Myth
I had an amusing thought tonight while I was rereading HOMEGUARD (because I'd forgotten a few details between writing SONS OF THE LION and some short stories). Memories, really, of when I was first breaking into the writing scene. I've never been a huge fan of literary agents. As technology brings publishers and authors closer … Continue reading The Agent Myth
Book Cover and Update
It's amazing what you can get done in two weeks. I turned in THE SONS OF THE LION last Sunday (eight days ago) and then watched as the release for the Cannon Publishing Spring Anthology rocket upwards. I then got to see the new cover for SotL (and I'll show it to you below). All … Continue reading Book Cover and Update
End of March
I didn't want to post this tomorrow because half the people would be thinking it was some sort of April Fool's Day joke. I, for one, plan on not being online tomorrow, because the amount of photoshopped images of Fox bringing Firefly back will be more than I can handle. You guys are awesome. Have … Continue reading End of March
FantaSci 2019 AAR – Gold Edition
First off, let me just say that FantaSci was an amazing first year con. Hat's off to Joel and his wonderful staff for putting on one hell of a convention. There have been very few conventions I've been to where I felt like I had come home. This is one of... two, total, with Libertycon … Continue reading FantaSci 2019 AAR – Gold Edition
Leprechauns And Reviews
Not sure if you heard or not, but Homeguard is out and currently kicking butt. We've already got 25 reviews, which means it is time for the Sacred Order of Barbecued Unicorns to unite (there's a long story about that somewhere on this website, I'll have to find it eventually) and grill up that tasty, … Continue reading Leprechauns And Reviews

Two Days Left
If the news fits... That's right, only two days left until the release of the 4th book in the Kin Wars Saga. I've been waiting for HOMEGUARD for a long time, since I first started writing the series actually, because quite a bit of what has been going on so far finally comes to fruition. … Continue reading Two Days Left

Con Date Change
Just a heads up for those hoping to come to Libertycon this year. Due to a snafu on the hotel's part, Libertycon was forced to change dates and venues. Instead of being at the Read House on May 30 - June 2, it will now be held at the Downtown Chattanooga Marriott from June 28-30. … Continue reading Con Date Change
